Makeup tips for different types of eyes

Apply shadow first to the most populated area of the brow to avoid laying down too much color. Finish by combing the brows with a toothbrush. If too much color is applied, soften by applying a bit of loose face powder in your correct shade with a powder puff. Use dark shades to create depth and light colors to make features stand out. Use blush, eye shadow, lip liner, and contour to reshape your face. Unless you are going for a very dramatic look, less is more. For different type of eyes there are various ways to express it up:

1. For eye lining: Using a sharpened Eye pencil to draw a thin line around the lash makes the lashes appear thicker. Hold outside corner of eye with the finger tip to apply. A thicker line will add drama. Be sure to blend the line with a wedge sponge or Q Tip to soften. If there are dark shadows under the eyes avoid lining the bottom. Begin the lash from the outer corner toward where the lashes end going towards the nose. Connect inner of eye to lash line by drawing on the inside edge of the skin. Smudge lines with a wedge sponge or Q-tip.

2. To enlarge small eyes: Start at the outer corner of the eye with medium tone eye color. Set shape by angling slightly upward. Apply eye color on entire eyelid as far as crease, blending outward. Softly blend darkest color in crease and at outer corner of eye. Line upper lid at lash line from inner corner to outer corner. Line lower lid under lashes on outer corner only. About one third of eye from outer corner then apply the mascara.

Makeup Tips Green Eyes

For makeup for the eyes the first and the foremost thing required are the shadows, eyeliners, mascara etc. First of all dealing with eye shadows one must consider:-

1. Use lighter shades to highlight under the brow
2. Use darker shades on the lid and the crease of the eye
3. if you require light shades for yourself, first of all draw a thin line or sharp eye pencil over the upper lash line as close to it as possible.

Secondly about Mascara you should consider below points while applying it:

1. Use black mascara as it suits to any shadow
2. While going for blue or brown mascara, draw thin line with same color liquid eyeliner or sharp eye pencil over the upper lash line as close to it as possible or just apply same color.
3. For short lashes, use lengthening mascara
4. For thin lashes, use voluptuous mascara
5. For sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers, use gentle mascara
6. Waterproof mascara is best choice in monsoon, or when eyes are watering

Some other tips

Eye makeup (eyeliner, eye shadows, kajal and mascara) is the most fun type of makeup. For green eyes one should use all shades of green, beige, light-brown shadows and black mascara. Shades of pink, salmon, mauve, and brownish-pink will help green eyes look even greener.

About eyeliner
1. Eyeliner is meant to add depth to eyes and give definition to lash line. To do so, hold the eyelid skin taut with fingertips of one hand and draw as fine a line as you can very close to the lash line with the other hand. Your hands should be steady for the purpose.
2. For the soft smoky look, smudge the edge of the line with the smear end of the eyeliner pencil.
3. For added natural beauty look, extend a very fine line to the innermost part of the upper lid.
4. Lining the lower lashes add the dramatic effect to your looks. You can do so by adding tiny dots to lash roots and a fine line on the outer half of the lower lash line.
5. Liquid eyeliners give more glamorous look but require more skill too.
6. Use slate, blue, grey and plum eye shadows for brown eyes, pink, salmon, mauve and brownish pink for green eyes and brown, camel and taupe shades for blue eyes.
7. Curling lashes open up your eyes. Do so by squeezing them with a lash curler from lash line to three fourth ways toward tips.
8. Stick to dark colored mascaras such as navy blue or plum for they look more natural.
